Karen and Sharon are well known tax professionals who lecture for Western CPE and CSEA's Super Seminar.  They will present up-to-date news and clarification of the changes in tax law, as well as answer questions on their presentation and topics from attendees.

Karen Brosi, EA, CFP 

Karen Brosi, EA, CFP® has been practicing in Palo Alto, California for over 15 years.  She is a Certified Financial Planner professional and is Enrolled to Practice before the Internal Revenue Service. Prior to establishing her own firm, Karen was a senior tax specialist and director of the financial planning department at a respected Palo Alto CPA firm.  A native Californian, she completed her undergraduate education at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, with a major in Mathematics. In the community, Karen is active in her local church and the Palo Alto Rotary Club. She is the founding president of FANS of Cal Poly Theatre, an Alumni Association Support Group, and is a past-president of Golden Gate Chapter and past officer of the California Society of Enrolled Agents. Karen advises clients in individual tax and family wealth planning. A frequent lecturer, Karen has written articles on various tax and financial planning topics and has been widely quoted in the print media, particulary the San Jose Mercury News.

Sharon Krieder, EA, CPA 

Sharon Kreider, CPA, has helped more than 15,000 California tax preparers annually get ready for tax season. She also presents regularly for the AICPA, the California Society of Enrolled Agents, CCH Audio, and Western CPE. You’ll benefit from the detailed, hands-on tax knowledge Sharon will share with you—knowledge she gained through her extremely busy, high-income tax practice in Silicon Valley. With her dynamic presentation style, Sharon will demystify complex individual and business tax legislation. She’s a national lecturer for business and professional groups and consistently receives outstanding evaluations.
